Porcelain Tealight Holders, inspired by Nepeta Nursery
Spend a restorative morning, surrounded by the beautiful early season plants at Nepeta England. You will be guided to make your own unique porcelain tealight holder incised with seasonal plants. Light refreshment and tour of this inspiring Nursery is included.

Christmas Workshop at Nepeta England
Join me for a mindful and festive morning using foliage and plants from Nepeta Englands garden to create a unique set of hanging Christmas decorations (approx 8 decorations depending on size). Take a glimpse into the works of 6 inspiring female artists who share a fascination with the natural world. Between Air & Earth, Is a collaborative show at Star Brewery, Lewes, 25 Oct - 2 Nov. This all female exhibition explores the notion of landscape in diverse and exciting ways. From mixed media collage, digital photo montage, wild & wood fired ceramics, painting, print making and porcelain paper-clay hand-built forms. Come and meet the artists and learn more about how they interpret the poetic beauty of our local landscapes.

Wild Ceramic Workshop
Discover the beauty of porcelain clay and this natural landscape. Joanna will guide you through the process of making your own unique tea light holder cast in the beautiful wildflower meadows of King John's Nursey in the high Weald of east Sussex. Booking is available through Greenfinch gallery. £55 per person, to include all materials and final firing. tea lights can be collected from greenfinch or posted at cost. Lunch is available at the nursery tearoom (payable locally).

Come and view my parian porcelain ceramics cast outside in the Kent and Sussex landscape alongside Karls immersive oil landscapes. Coinciding with the Summer Exhibition Barbara Hepworth: Art & Life”, The Towner is excited to be hosting a fair celebrating the versatile discipline of ceramics. Featuring 40 selected ceramicists from around the country and a number from local Sussex. Free entry, no booking required.
Casting the landscape, Art takes nature as its model
Join Joanna Terry for a connected morning workshop where you will discover the beauty of porcelain clay and the natural landscape. After being greeted at theThe gallivant with refreshments you will head to Camber for a beach combing session. You will be invited to collect a few shells, driftwood and grasses to use to creature detail and texture in the porcelain clay. Using slab building techniques you will be shown how to assemble your clay to create a unique tea light holder. These will be fired by Joanna and posted back to you after the event.
